Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Melanie graduated from the University of Manitoba where she earned a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science degree in the Athletic Therapy stream. She became a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2003 and followed that with a certification as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist in 2004.

Melanie is actively involved in the Manitoba soccer community. She has been the head therapist for the Canadian Soccer Regional Training Centre/National Development Centre for Manitoba for 10 years. She has also worked with different provincial, club and Canada Games soccer teams. In addition to her soccer experience, Melanie spent several years working as a therapist in hockey.
Melanie is an avid athlete herself, having participated as a player in hockey, ringette, volleyball, soccer and badminton throughout her life. She still finds time to participate in competitive volleyball. She also enjoys cycling, hiking, camping and many other athletic activities. The rest of her time is spent coaching her children's hockey and soccer.
